Meet Simon

Simon Walker

Simon Walker has been an estate agent since the early 1970s, starting his career at Mawson and Walton on Greek Street in Leeds City centre.  Simon then became a Director at Russell Manning Ltd in the 1980s, which had three offices, Moortown, West Park (on the same parade as Walker Smale), and Meanwood. Russell Manning Ltd was then bought out by Royal Insurance and the business was then re-named Thompson Manning before becoming William H Brown. Simon then went on to open an office in Otley for one of our competitors before joining forces with Michael Smale in 1996.

Simon has been a resident of Bramhope for many years, has brought up four daughters in the village, and is a keen supporter of local Events. Like Michael, Simon enjoys most sports but especially horse racing and football and he also has a passion for wildlife and keeps a variety of chickens and bantams.
