Bramhope “Care for a Cuppa” initiative

Everyone at Walker Smale is proud to live and work within the wonderful communities across Wharfedale and North Leeds. In fact, going to work doesn’t feel like going to work!

Walker Smale are always happy to support good causes and charities across the area where we can and have most recently supported the Bramhope “Care for a Cuppa” initiative which supports people living with dementia and their carers. The Dementia Friendly Bramhope group run regular “Care for a Cuppa” cafes at the Hall and Walker Smale are delighted to cover the cost of the venue.

If this is something that affects you, a family member or friend, please let us know and we can put you in touch.

We also regularly sponsor local sports teams and events such as The Ilkley Carnival, Bramhope and Otley Shows.

Michael Smale has played cricket for Burley-in-Wharfedale, Menston, Addingham and Ben Rhydding and his son Freddie, who works part-time for the business, now plays cricket for the Olicanian’s in Ilkley.

Our local charity partner is St Gemma’s Hospice and we often take part in their initiatives and activities.
